Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
The Austin Peay State University Eriksson College of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), a national organization that sets standards and procedures for accrediting teacher preparation programs. CAEP's mission is to ensure quality and continuous improvement in the effectiveness of preparation programs to strengthen student learning in grades PreK - 12. The accreditation process provides professional judgment of the quality of teacher education programs and encourages continuous improvement.
